Some of the Best Places in London to celebrate Bastille Day!
Take your tricolour flags and party accessories, Bastille Day is around the corner! Here are a few offers and suggestions for you to enjoy an original French national day in London.
Bastille Day in darkness
Spend the evening in total darkness with “Dans le Noir?” Live a sensory experience and dine in the dark. This will change your perspective of the world. For Bastille Day, “Dans le Noir?” proposes a typical French menu. And if you want to party after, try the silent disco: you will be given headphones and be able to dance to the music of your choice. Only French music for Bastille Day !
Silent party : £19 online, £9 if you had dinner before.

For a celebration “bonne franquette”
The restaurant Chez Elles will welcome you on 14 July to celebrate Bastille Day like you would do in a French village. Enjoy a glass of Ricard for £2, and, of course, French food. The acoustic band Chéri-Chéri will perform old-school French songs to bring you the real atmosphere from across the Channel.

Other Bastille Day celebrations
14 July falls on a Thursday this year but all the events to celebrate the French national day are not all planned on that day. In fact, some start as early as 10 July at the Borough Market Bastille Festival. From 12pm to 8pm, enjoy pétanque, Parisian music and French delicacies: wine, croissants, macarons, crepes, etc. The French chef Katherine Frelon will be giving a demonstration for those of you who love cooking.
