Travel to Provence with Les Deux Salons
Located close to the National Portrait Gallery, Les Deux Salons invites its guests on a journey to discover four of France’s regions. The voyage starts today with a Provençal menu featuring, among others, a provençal apéritif, ‘artichauts à la Barigoule’, grilled lamb, provençal cheese and a typical tarte aux abricots. All of that coming with some rosé wine, bien sûr! There is no better way of discovering France’s sunniest region without leaving London.
Les Deux Salons offers a variety of menus in a Parisian brasserie setting, from breakfast to dinner. On the ground floor, the bistro is perfect for groups of friends and casual business lunches. The menu features some very typical brasserie dishes: coquilles St-Jacques, coquelet basquaise, coquelet à la française, dorade royale and seefood platter. On the first floor, you get into a cosier and more romantic atmosphere, with small tables covered with white tablecloths. The ideal setting to share a dish with your loved one: oysters, assortments of charcuterie, bœuf en croûte, lapin à la moutarde… they have all been designed for two people to share. And if you want to invite all your family or celebrate a special occasion, there are two private rooms available, for a more intimate dinner.
Before leaving, have a look at the épicerie and cave à vin on the ground floor. The small boutique offers a wide selection of wines, as well as a range of typically French gourmet specialities: ripened cheese, cassoulet, saucisson, Basque piperade, fish soup and even Maison Pabeyre truffle products. The perfect place to put together your tailormaide gift hamper! And you’ll get 10% off at the shop on any purchase made after your meal.
