Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester
Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, London's latest exciting restaurant, opened its doors November 13th. Seating approximately 80, the restaurant is located in a light and elegant room with a contemporary design overlooking Park Lane and Hyde Park. Chef Jocelyn Herland interprets Alain Ducasse's cuisine in a modern and refined way. This restaurant has been awarded 'Two Michelin stars - rising Three stars' from the new Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2009.
Dinner: Tuesday to Saturday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm
The 'Lunch Hour' includes 2 glasses of wine, mineral water and coffee
Rose & Raspberry, Orange blossom, Lavender,… Macaroons, a popular treat served at the restaurant, are taking a new twist this summer. Pastry Chef Angelo Ercolano has selected a number of subtle flavours that capture a floral theme to mark the event that kicks off the London 'Season': The Chelsea Flower Show.
Come and enjoy these new floral sweets as the perfect finale to an invigorating dining experience.
Head Sommelier Mathias Negro has carefully selected a collection of inspiring wines including many special vintages such as 2007 Riesling Brand Alsace Grand Cru, Domaine Josmeyer, served by the glass from a magnum. In addition Mathias takes pride in finding as well smaller domains. Guests can enjoy his 'coups de coeurs' wines by the glass or the bottle.
Mathias says 'Listening and understanding our clients' wine preferences and expectations is my approach. I want to offer a personal, tailor-made wine service that is friendly and accessible and transmit my true passion for a unique experience'
