An extraordinary judo club that is the second most important and influential club in the world. It developed the coloured belt system in 1927 and was the foundation of European Judo in 1938, but delayed by the war until 1948, and the International Judo Federation in the early fifties. It is the oldest judo club in Europe originally established in 1918 in Lower Grosvenor Place next to Buckingham Palace. I am very proud of being a long standing member.
