Dear Managing Director The Refugee Council would be delighted if you could donate a cake towards a Christmas party which we are holding for destitute asylum seekers at our project at 19 Thayer St (3 minutes walk from your Marylebone High St business) on the afternooon of Thursday 13th Dec. Our clients are people from all over the world, who have no recourse to public funds or housing, and who are not allowed to work. We are seeking to give them a little seasonal cheer, and are requesting just one item from each of several businesses in the area. We do hope that you will be able to respond positively Carol Woollard (volunteer at the Refugee Council) www.refugeecouncil.org.uk
