Tété and Arnaud Fleurent-Didier at the French Institute

24/03/2011 from 21:00 to 23:00

Two of France's greatest current exponents of music sung in the French language, Tété and Arnaud Fleurent-Didier will bring an evening of very special French music to the Institut français on the occasion of the Francophone week. While Tété's roots lie in Senegal, his voice has been compared to the American Jeff Buckley. His influences stem from blues, folk and pop influences, including Delta Blues, Lenny Kravitz, The Beatles and Bob Dylan. Arnaud Fleurent-Didier on the other hand has followed in the footsteps of great songwriters such as Baccarach, Michel Legrand and Polnareff, whilst being more than a little indebted to Gainsbourg.
