Les Fauristes Christmas Concert - Cantate et Christmas Carols - The French Protestant Church - 16 December

Les Fauristes Chamber Choir and Orchestra continue their partnership with Tamise en Scène and are coming back very soon for a new Christmas concert.

After two packed concerts of Bach’s Magnificat at the end of  June 2014 at the French Protestant Church, Les Fauristes will perform a programme of traditional songs for the Advent and Christmas season, at the French Protestant Church in Soho Square, on Tuesday 16th December at 7.30 pm.

Les Fauristes will sing one the Christmas Cantatas by Jean-Sébastien BACH (Cantata 142), and a selection of English and French Christmas carols. It will be a festive and friendly evening around some traditional mince pies and mulled wine. 

Les Fauristes will be accompanied by their usual orchestra composed of talented musicians from the Guildhall, Royal Academy and Royal College of Music, and conducted by Blandine de Raulin.

- Cantata BWV 142 (Uns ist ein Kind geboren)

In Dulci Jubilo (Arr. Bach)
- Traditionnal Christmas Carols, including:
- Ding Dong merrily on High
- In the Bleak Midwinter
- Joy to the World
- Douce Nuit
