12th March- 5th June: The Royal Academy of Arts presents the first major retrospective exhibition of Jean-Antoine Watteau’s (1684 – 1721) drawings to be held in the UK.

Esprit et Vérité: Watteau and His Circle at the Wallace Collection

From 12th March to 5th June 2011, this exhibition will provide an opportunity to present new research on the Wallace Collection’s Watteau paintings and view them in the context of more recent developments in Watteau studies.
