Ciné lumière pays tribute to Alain Resnais with a selection of his work from the last four decades, from the witty sci-fi adventure Je t'aime je t'aime (1968) to 2003's light-hearted musical comedy Pas sur la bouche. The centrepiece of the weekend is the preview screening of Resnais's latest feature, Private Fears in Public Places (Saturday 9 June, 8.30pm at Ciné lumière), winner of the Silver Lion at the 2006 Venice Film Festival.
