My grandfather: Charles Garrard, was the head food buyer at the Army & Navy stores Victoria Street SWI.
He worked there for over fifty years and retired at some time during the mid 1930's. I would be extremely interested to discover more about him and his activities whilst employed there. I lived with him in Cheam Surrey during the war years and he died in 1949. Whilst employed by the Army & Navy he lived in a large house with his large family in Cedar Road Sutton Surrey.
